Silent whispers...

Some silent whispers,
Are like the sacred scriptures..
They speak without uttering a word,
Sometimes through them you can see the entire world..

Some people are silent when LOVE dwells in,
words are not enough to express the happiness growing within..
Some are silent when sadness creeps in,
to search for the peace hidden within..

Silently you can convey what words can't,
though its easy to jabber and chant..
There are times when this silence also kills,
it slowly works like some dangerous pills..

You need to speak when people around you are dumb,
When they cant read your actions and consider you numb..
You have to tell them, silence always does not mean acceptance,
it can also be a sign of ignorance..

Some people argue,shout,scream and fight..
some maintain their calm,and choose to be polite..
It's because of the values they hold,
It's the result of the way,they were mould.

When we do something for others,
With pride we take all the honors.
But GOD who gives us everything,
Have you ever,even heard him whispering?
Silently HE fulfills all our desires,
Silently HE loves us and silently HE admires.

memories...

Memories are like precious stones,
they don't need the external light, they shine on their own.
Pick any stone and see,
every little incident is fresh in our heart's sea.
The waves of time may displace them,
but the value they hold is not less than a gem.

Sometimes we smile,
sometimes moan,
when memories are with us,
we don't feel alone.
We don't have to sit and recall,
memories follow us, they are ours after all.
They never leave us,
Directly or indirectly they DEFINE US.

Some incidents leave such marks,
which are visible even in the dark.
We can hide them from the world,
but deep within they remain bundled.

The soothing sound of the rain,
often reminds us of the times, it washed away our pain.
The damp and moist roads,
takes us back to our romantic mode:)

Sometimes we smile with no rhyme or reason,
It's because, memories keep coming back with the season.
There are times when we feel unreasonably low,
without any reason just tears flow ..

We should just stop and think,
as the answer is hidden within.
It's the surroundings and the season,
which reminds us of a special but, lost relation.
We all have moved on with time,
and that is absolutely fine.
But some memories keep troubling us,
even in our dreams they follow us.
What our mind did not allow,
we feel all that in our dreams, I don't know how?

Some songs still drive us crazy,
we smile, dance, feel beautiful and rosy ..:)
It's like the feeling of a new born love,
its divine like the heavens above.
Hearing some notes we become silent and sad,
it’s not because of the song, but the one, whom we once had.

Sometimes it's the fragrance,
which reminds us of the arms we used to embrace.
Sometimes it's the food,
Which can change our mood.
The taste and the aroma,
Reminds us of the food cooked by our maa.

Seeing a car running on a beautiful highway,
May take us back to the leisure day(s).
Some silent long drives with our partner,
When without asking we got all the answers.
With the moon and the bright stars,
Enjoying cornetto and choco bar..:)
Those adventurous road trips,
those family gossips, accompanied with uncle chips.

Walking down a street,
when we see bunch of friends, enjoying a treat.
We smile and close our eyes,
we can still hear the laughter, you know why?

People who once touch our heart,
NEVER GO APART..

yaadein...

Kuch yaadein kabhi dhundhali nahi hoti..
Kuch baatein kabhi khamosh nahi hoti..
Kabhi shorr mein vo gumm hoti hai,
to kabhi sannaton mein bhi sunayi deti hai..

Jab kabhi nazron se chupana chaho,
Mann mein vo tassavur karti hai..
Jab muskurahat mein dabana chaho,
aankhon ki nami mein vo chalakti hai..

Yaadein aksar Hume khamosh karti hai..
Khushi ke pal yaad aaye to aankhein humari bhar jati hai..:'(
Gum ke pal yaad kar muskaan aa jaati hai..:)
Kaisa ye anokha rishta humse yaadein nibhati hai..??

Yaadon par, beeti baaton par..
kisi ka Zor nahi chalta..
Bichdey pyar se, roothey dost se..
Milne ko kyun hai dil tadapta.?

Dil ke rishtey dil mein hi dhadakte hai..
Umra ke saath saath gehere hote hai..
Kabhi khamosh raaton mein jagaate hai..
Kabhi din bhar ye sataate hai..

Dil Chahta hai wahi sab jeena,
Mushkil hai in yaadon se nikalna..
Kabhi kisi mod par shayad..
Mil jaayen vo humse achaanak..

Khud se bhaag kar hum kahan jaaye..
Najane un yaadon ko kyun hai ab tak dil mein sajaye..?
Dilse ab yahi duaa hai nikalti..
Salaamat rahe vo jinse ye yaadein hai Judi..:)

Ye yaadein kabhi khamosh nahi hoti..

myth of life...

We humans are blessed on this Earth,
to play our roles filled with tears and mirth.

Almighty is the Director,Producer and Writer,
In HIS never ending play we are the Characters.

We will play our respective roles and then leave,
We are sent here to clear our debts- But,is it easy to believe?

We are asked to keep ourselves detached from worldly- काम, क्रोध ,लोभ ,,मोह ,अहंकार,
so that we get to meet the Almighty- the निरंकार.

If this is the truth, then why did HE give us emotions?
We could still do what HE wants,in every situation.

We are asked to stay neutral,
with no emotions, we are asked to stay natural.

How can a person have emotions just for GOD,
and nothing-no feelings for those who introduce us to him-our dear LORD.

You must have read these lines written by KABIR JI
"गुरु गोबिंग दोउ खडे ,काके लागू पाए,
बलिहारी गुरु आपने,गोनिंद लियो बताये |"
so whom should we worship...?
God who brought us into this world,
or our parents who,introduce HIM to us,
struggle for us,and save us from this strange world?

This is a Vicious Circle my dear friends,
we all are always confused- whom should we love and whom should we defend.

I am not asking you to believe whatever i think,
rather after reading this do tell me,what comes to your mind in one blink.

One advise to all my dear friends..
Believe in yourself,believe in God,
HE is the only one on whom we can depend.

A search...

You left me in the dark,
To search for your loving spark.
Roads are lonely, not even the dogs bark,
It's just me in the dark.

Where can I find you, O LORD,
Which ship or plane should I board.
Lost in the world, guide me my GOD,
I can't see ahead, trapped in the fog.

Give me strength and courage,
Prepare me for the worldly voyage.
People are cruel, unkind and mean,
Although tried, goodness I have rarely seen.

I don't worship you as a duty,
But, to realize your eternal beauty.
Days are colorful, nights delightful,
When you are with me... I feel beautiful.

Shall I search you in the church bells,
Or shall I look for you in the temple shells?
I believe you are every where,
Still my soul searches you here n there.

When it rains I enjoy it as your blessing,
It's so wonderful and caressing.
When it's sunny, I feel your motherly warmth,
In search of you my heavenly father I took birth.

Many times I saw you in maa's eyes,
Also I feel you in paa's strong advice.
They introduced me to you,
I am sorry, for I worship them ( my maa paa) before I worship YOU.

A BEAUTIFUL VALLEY

A valley so beautiful,
So serene and peaceful.
Nestled in the foothills of Himalayas,
It has it's reference even in the Vedas and Purana s.
The valley, referred to as the Gateway to Mussoorie,
Yes I am talking about our beautiful Dehradun, nicknamed as the ' Doon Valley'.

Famous for it's scenic beauty,
Once visited, no one can forget this radiant city.
Dehradun was derived from deraa n doon,
Which means camping in the valley- doon.
It is renowned for it's natural resources,
educational institutes n publishing services.
FRI,IMA,Malsi deer park, laxman sidh n tapkeshwar,
Guchhupani, lachiwala, sahastradhara are some of the attractions you will find there.

Blessed with all the four seasons,
Doon is loved by all,for endless reasons.
Winters come with frozen hands and red cheeks,
Chattering teeth make it difficult, for us to speak.
Mornings are glistened with the dew drops,
and evenings are spent at the bunntikki stall.

Mango trees during the summer,
invite parrots from all over.
Lichis so delicious and red,
make us lurk as bees around them.

Although far from doon,
My heart always wishes to be there soon.
It's the love for the city,
Which will never fade.

Those auto, vikram n tonga rides to school,
Those smart school dresses n our attitude so cool;)
Evenings in doon are full of fun,
The cool  breeze n the rains,
followed by tea with r favorite samosa n bun.
Those drives till the Rajpur diversion,
Then visiting the Sai Mandir gave our life a new vision.

No doonite can forget The Rajpur Road,
Many hearts melted, met n got connected there.
It adds beauty to a relation,
You will smile n forget your pain whatever may be the situation.
Great Value and Madhuban stand like pillars of pride,
Rajpur is the best place for the romantic long drives ;)
Who can forget the flowers from "charan das phool wala"
be it for valentines,friendship day or for a varr mala.

Rajpur ke pakodey,
Logon ko Batorey.
Pizza and chinese at the Countdown,
was one of the hep places of the town.

Pastries and cakes of Elloras and Grand,
made our B'day parties out-stand.
The round round Sunrise rusk,
was so delicious and mast.
My taste buds still crave for the Kwality toffees,
and the mouth watering variety at Kumar Sweets.

The Jhandewala chowk with the glittering shops n chaat stalls,
the camped market was more fun than any mall.
Our 'Ghantaa Ghar' with it's six clocks,
Is the city's beautiful red block.
It's the gateway to Paltan Bazaar,
Where you get everything- clothes, accessories, decors n even achaar..;)
After shopping you can enjoy the famous 'Kumar ki Kulfi'
It will rejuvenate your taste buds as it's so yummy.

After Holi comes the famous " Jhande ka Mela"
which attracts punjabis, who come there for their yearly feraa.
Viraasat at SJA,
had Doon invited at one place.

On one end of Doon you have "Daat Kali Mandir"
and on the other end the beautiful " Shiv Mandir".
In Raipur is the peaceful Gurudwara- Nanaksar,
During Saavan no one misses their visit to Tapkeshwar.

Feels GREAT to have been born and brought up there,
the peace i get there..tried but have found no where.
In the laps of nature lies our small "valley of doon"
Craddled by nature,
with beauty so divine and pure.

EXPRESSIONS defining IMPRESSIONS…

Expressions often misguide us,
sometimes they speak the truth, sometimes fake us.

Our eyes may see a smile, or a frown clear,

but the masks often make them blur.

Every tear rolling down the cheek,

is not a sign of grief.

They are also a sign of contentment,

they roll down when after a harsh blow, things become pleasant.

Tears are like pearl droplets,

they also denote peaceful and happy moments.

They are usually seen in pain,

but are valued more, when broken relations they save.

Every smile blooming on a face,

is not a sign of a happy phase.

It can be a way to hide pain with grace,

wearing a smile pain can be erased.

Smile adds beauty to a face, like a frilled lace.

But sorrow in the eyes can be easily traced.

With smile people can confuse an approaching frown,

those who welcome problems smiling, I honor them with a crown.

Every silence does not denote peace,

read it carefully it will tell a story without speech.

We fight and argue when we are hurt,

but silence accompanies when all hopes are burnt.

People say silence speaks volumes,

but it may be a way to hide the angry burning fumes.

Silence adds beauty to the bride and groom,

when only eyes speak and faces bloom.

But, at times this SILENCE is scary;

it may denote a relation ready to bury.

Every quarrel is not because of hatred,

it is also to save a relation so sacred.

You will see some people always happy,

but the truth is they are not so lucky.

These funny individuals are the masters;

they spread love and keep their pain hidden from others.

A Smile, a Tear, a Frown and Silence,

can hide the truth with brilliance.

Be smart to read eyes,

they will never lie, judge them, and be wise.

Relations are our True Wealth,

Only they accompany you after death.

Save them relations are precious,

the beauty they hold is ageless.
